NetworkingDigital Entrepreneur is a global network for entrepreneurs with a focus in the digital space.
We meet in cities around the World at least once a month for dinner (the #DigiDinner) to network, discuss, debate, create deals, learn and share. There is no pitching or selling although that said 90% of our members are working together. Data Pipe + Machine Learning
Contact Enhance is currently in Beta. The idea is to help eliminate digital waste by increasing the relevancy of the messages we receive to a point where the message appears to have been written just for you.
The problem the vast majority of businesses have is that when we ask people to register with us for information about the products and services we offer, those people are only willing to provide a limited amount of information due to a number of pressures including:
Contact Enhance aims to resolve this issue by adding variables automatically from a number of different publicly available sources to each row of data. So a row containing the email address and first name goes on to include up to 99 additional variables from company name to company size, number of twitter followers to cash at bank.
This additional information allows the user to personalise their message to a much higher degree and increase relevancy significantly. This is why Contact Enhance can be referred to as a "data-pipe" because it pipes in data.
An additional feature of Contact Enhance I refer to as "lookalikes". This is where Contact Enhance uses the additional variables to identify other similar prospect records. The aim is to create a mathematical algorithm that can pick out 2,000 hot prospects from a database of 600,000 cold prospects. The algorithm is about as clever as a wagonload of monkeys right now but my hope is that with the help of a little machine learning the success rate of this algorithm will increase over time.
